Performance Ford Day @ Trust Ford Barnsley

Well I attended my 1st ever Car Show as a Trader yesterday at the above titled event. The Van’s no where near ready really for this sort of thing but as it was a rush job, only knew about going @ 4pm the previous day, I just threw everything I had in the back & off I went. The day, weather wise, was meant to be a bit overcast & cool but it turned out to be very sunny & hot!

There was loads of Cars, old & new, to have a gander at including the New Ford GT, 2018 Mustang V8, 2018 Fiesta ST & a Focus RS Red Edition. Various Ford Clubs from around the region attended inc EYRSOC with a nice & diverse range of Performance Fords. I didn’t get to see as much as I would’ve liked since my role has now changed at these events from show attendee to Trade Seller. But I still enjoyed it & it was good to get out there with the people & start promoting this side of my Business.

I think the Van went down a storm as not many people have seen the new Transit Custom Sport in it’s latest guise & this totally amazing Orange Glow Metallic Paintwork. The colour choice was a major plus I think if I do say so myself ? One person said that it wasn’t ‘Orange’ enough but when the Sun shone on it wow did it Pop!! I think he needed to go to specsavers tbh lol. And that’s without it even been treated yet as I’m having Vinyl Graphics fitted before it get’s it’s Paintwork Buffed up.

All in it was a Good little Event for me as it got my Name / Brand some exposure which it really needed. Plus, I managed to do a few sales & provide a Prize for the Raffle that they had.
